| Thom Ollinger raced the
Coslinger Special at Battle Mountain in 2003 and cranked it up to
62.068 MPH.
It had been modified in
2003 by Sean Costin to use a Varna bubble canopy which
allowed it to run without the video camera remote vision
apparatus that had been problematic in the past.
The Coslinger team is
still planning on building a new streamliner, called
"Cos II",
but progress is slow.
Will they return this
year?
