Cedar Rapids HPRA Racing Pictures 2007
Races held Sept 15th & 16th 2007. Thanks again to Dennis and his parents
Mary and Duane for putting on a great event. All the racers got nice
screen printed cloth goodie bags filled with water and snacks, plus
Mary's great cookies and sweet rolls to keep us fueled. Thanks also to
Luke Gilbert for running the timing system both days!

| The Rose Hulman team brought
this back to back tandem. They didn't race it because of stability issue
caused when the riders cranked hard at different cadences. |

Don Barry accidentally gave the lead riders
the white flag with 2 laps to go, so they thought they were on the last
lap. They jockeyed and sprinted, assuming they were heading for the
checkered flag. Here Jeff Hunn holds off hard charges by ____ (left) and
Fred Parks (right) to win the 20-lap race (which was only 19 laps
long!). Behind Jeff is Garrie Hill, followed by Chris Cortez. |

Tiger heard a loud bang and thought he got a flat, so he pulled off onto
the grass. No flat was found, so he figured he probably picked up a
small stone or something and flipped it against his fairing, causing the
noise. He re-entered the race and continued to lap the rest of the
SuperStreet and SuperStock riders. |
