Notes:

• Condition were cloudy and cool, with temps around 65 degrees, and a wind blowing down course at 5 to 10 MPH. 
• Wind speeds may have improved the speeds of the 100 Meter times marginally, but does not take anything away from Dan Grow's record 19.97 time! 
• Bill Goldthorpe showed up with a beautifully executed plywood dingy which a Murphy style compact drive unit. It was incredibly fast and maneuverable for it's size. He broke the 1/4" prop shaft of the drive unit during the static thrust event.
• Dan Roche redesigned his boat with beautiful new 12 ft long hulls and twin ducted props. He experience some grinding in the drive unit after the 100 meter sprints, and packed the boat back up. 
• "Factory racer" Steve Forss raced Paul Niedermann's catamaran, with spectacular results. He made that little boat fly!
• Dan Grow continues to tweak his boat, it was amazingly fast this year.
• Jake debuted some new amavons, which reduced the Rube Goldberg effect of his HPB greatly. 
• Warren Beauchamp tweaked his Kayak, and discovers that he really did need stabilizers as it was very tippy without them. Peg Cipolla rescued him with some strap-on Kayak water wings. Warren's prop was fouled with weeds during the bollard pull.
• Bob Buerger tried again to get his latest HPB running, but blew up the drive unit while testing it in the water.
• Aaron Stiles showed up with a cool new HPB, which was so new that it had not been tested, and ran into some drive unit and steering issues.
• Rich Hodgkins paddled a very cool and lightweight kayak, brought 3 other kayaks, and rescued a bunch of us who were going hypothermic with warm and dry kayaking clothing.
