| Indiana race director Frank Lindley (in green) starts the
pre-race meeting, to explain how the outlaw drags work. The Outlaw drags
pit racers in random order by drawing their names from a hat.

Garrie Hill (in black) gets racers attention at the

tape"

Charles Moll raced his 2 week old Lightning F-40 on this
very windy day, and had a spectacular crash during the road race which
tore up more Lycra than you can shake a stick at. Charles hopped back in
and finished the race with only minor road rash. |
| Frank Geyer (left) and Sean Costin race head to head for
the top eliminator during the outlaw drags. Sean beat Frank by one
inch in a photo finish. |

Garrie Hill races his M5, with the latest iteration of
Super Stock fairing. As Garrie has a different configuration each time
he races, I expect a report from him to let us all know what fairing
combination actually works best... |
| Bill Murphy races his Tour Easy. If you look at race
pictures from five years ago, you'll see Bill really likes this bike.
Only the beard has changed... |

Sarah Gordon races on her ATP Vision R-40. Sarah races in
the Junior class. |
| Frank Geyer racing his Challenge Jester during the 10 lap
road race. Frank came in second behind Sean Costin in the stock class. |
 |
 |
Jane and Jeff Hunn cruise by the start/finish line on
their Double Vision during the l0 lap race. |
| Sean Costin on his Monkey Hand stock class bike. Sean is
stretching the boundaries of stock class with this vehicle. That and the
fact that he has been training on hills this year should make him hard
to beat. |

Kevin Abbot races his silver Baron low racer. |
| John Tetz and his
Zote foam bodied - carbon fiber framed mini streamliner. Rich Sadler
raced this streamliner, and during the outlaw drags he crashed at 25MPH
when his front tire blew out. John got out the rubber cement and tape
and put the body back together in time for the lap races. The Zote foam
is remarkably resilient. I didn't notice any scrapes in the foam from
the crash. You can click on this picture for a higher resolution image. |

Karen Wood (Rob Wood's
sister-in-law) races her Zox 20-20 during the lap race. Karen won the

Warren Beauchamp works to
remove the lowracer from the Barracuda streamliner in preparation for
the faired class lap race. It was so windy that the faster streamliners
had to slow down to prevent being blow off the road, so some of the
streamliner racers decided to just race naked.

| Tyger Johnson races his
modified Lightning F-40 in the lap race. As shown in this photo, Tyger
partially unzipped the body sock to reduce the effects of the gusting
winds. It worked well, and Tyger won the race. |

 |
Rich Sadler races John Tetz's
foam bodied streamliner in the lap race. After a slow start, Rich came
back to finish in second place. |
| Dan Glatch races his
streamliner, recently purchased from builder Robert Jung. This
streamliner has a fiberblass nose and Coroplast body, and the frame is
constructed of pop-riveted sheet aluminum. |

Tyger Johnson poses by his
Lightning F-40. Tyger recently added a Lightning X2 tail fairing to the
bike, and it certainly didn't hurt his speed. |
