Dagnabit it was cold out there today.

Two recumbents were entered. Me on my Catrike 700 and Phil Plath on a Nocom low racer. Phil had loaned Tim's Nocom for the event and he looked really fast. If he has jumped ahead of me in the standings I am going to have to train like a mad thing or borrow something faster to get him back :)

I wait for the results with baited breath.

Congrats, Phil. Could someone post a pic of Phil's bike so we can see if he is using any speed mods we aren't? That makes two TTs bents have won first overall. Now, if Sean would just beat Jeff Otto and Lemmy would move up one place.....

It's Tim W's nocom.
There's some pics of it at Portland from this year's OHPV event... OHPV's forums have a pic thread.

Alan Hu(Bacchetta High Racer) : 27m14s.

I have to defend that time - I found out after the race that my chain had come off the jockey wheel in the rear derailleur. It was rubbing against the cage for the second half of the race. No wonder I felt particularly gassed at then end of this one.

Will try again at the next TT in September. Hopefully will have a better showing :(

Phil had a great run though. Especially considering that the course has 400 ft of climbing involved. He was on Tim W's M1. Coincidentally, we ran into Tim W on the way back to the car that morning.
